Where artistic design meets engineered utility
Hi, I’m Ethan, a 22-year-old from Vancouver, Canada. Skiing has always been more than just a sport for me, it’s a lifestyle, an identity, and one of the purest forms of freedom I know. The gear we choose is an extension of that identity. Our skis aren’t just tools for the mountain, they’re works of art, each carrying memories of unforgettable powder days, bluebird skies with friends, and daunting challenges overcome.
I started Après Equipment with one simple goal, finding an aesthetic way to highlight the beauty of skis beyond the mountain. Like a lot of skiers, I felt let down by the ski storage options out there. They were practical, but too bulky and distracted you from the skis themselves. Because of this, too often, skis end up shoved into closets or leaning in dark corners. I wanted to create a way to showcase them proudly, turning them into a feature of the home, the same way a painting or sculpture might be displayed.
The result is the Air Dock: a minimalistic, premium ski mount designed to make your skis look like they’re floating on your wall. Built from aerospace-grade aluminum, it’s engineered with the same care and attention that skiers bring to the mountain. It’s not just storage, it’s a way to let your passion live in your space every day.
Our Future
This is just the beginning. My vision for Après Equipment is to build products that honour the culture and lifestyle of calling the slopes a second home.
If you’re here, thank you for being part of this journey. I hope the Air Dock inspires you to treat your skis not just as equipment, but as art, and to always keep your passion close, even when you’re far from the mountains.
